so i love-love my little summer nanny job & wouldnt trade it for the world but i miss...

waking up slow with my hubby....enjoying the morning..... having my coffee outside on our deck......blogging like a maniac.....staying up late & then waking up with inspiration & being able to run into my studio & create it....& my little sewing bee....i guess i just miss "my" normal! But i know that i only have a little more time left with my cute little "nanny family" & that makes me sad too!! But, i guess you cant have it all, huh?! love you!! xo

hey ya'll....it's Sunday and i am sooo happy! i am getting ready to work on some sewing projects....whoot!!! i just ate way-way to many pretzel M & M's.....those things should be illegal!!! ;) i want to share a few things....here is a quilt that i made and finally got loaded and quilted!! Yay! Now i need to find a binding for it, i didnt buy it when i bought the rest of the fabric....dumb!

What do you think, do you like the colors mixed in this line of fabric? I thought they were really pretty! :) enjoy your Sunday night....XO!!

hello friends its summer and with summer comes my little nanny job, yard work, gardens, camping and family outings! So with that i have found no time to blog!! boy we have had hot weather and lots of storms this month....we are expecting one tonight! i have lots of things that i want to share but dont think i will be able to get it all in ...... so i promise to be back again tomorrow with a picture loaded post!! :) i hope everyone is happy and healthy! love you all xox

hello loves! the weather is beautiful here! the sun was out today and the birds were just chirping away....bliss! i got together with a little quilting group today did some sewing and had a great lunch of bulgarian green beans, some chips & cowboy caviar, great harvest bread and brownies...OH my! :) we worked on more pillowcases to donate in the honor of our friend Connie Culverhouse. we had a wonderful time! then i visited with my little sister and her two beautiful girls....love them!!! then back home for yard work, a walk with hubby and a cook out!!! what a fantastic day! love you all! i heart mondays

happy monday ya'll! i have spent the day cleaning house & doing yard work with hubby. we finally managed to get the xmas lights off the house too! now he is mowing and i decided to share a few photos from vacation as well as from the Venice, FL quilt show....here goes!

back home!

hello everyone! we just got back from a nice long vacation in Florida!! we went with our friends Karen and Steve...so nice of them to let us tag along!! (thanks again guys-love ya) we went to so many different beaches that i hope i can remember which is which in our photos! :) we had such a nice time, there were a few chilly days but mostly warm sun! i must say... that although it was fantastic, i sure was glad to see our house and bed!! it was a LONG drive! it's funny how getting away can make you really appreciate it all!! we did have a terrible phone call that my husbands step moms father had passed away...so sad and tough being so far away from everyone...will be nice to be together at Easter dinner tomorrow.
