Here is a picture of my 2 loves!! Daisy knows that Justins leg is hurting him & well she decided to jump up and lay on it! LoL (she isnt a furniture dog, she has her own beds) She was just trying to make it better!

Here she is laying on my Amy Butler gum drop..covering her eyes...telling me that she is all done with the pictures for now! ;)

Here is my thrift find of the month!! This is hands down the coolest thing i think i have ever bought for $3!! It spins & serves! The wood underneath says its from Denmark.

I will use this for sooo many things.
With warm weather coming soon..think toppings: for hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, sauces, sides! I could go on forever! I am so in love with these colors too!

holy cowl

Hee-hee! I thought that title was kinda cute! ;) I Have been a crazy knitting fool working on a chunky brown cowl!! I love love love how it is turning out! I WILL finish it today, i wanted to finish it late last night and i well.. fell asleep! Zzz!

I think i am pretty much hooked on making these!! I already started a pink one...i think it will be just darling this spring! :)

As far as the quilting front goes, i have finally added the borders to this fig tree quilt that i made months ago!! I am really excited to quilt it...just in time for spring!

Also if you have been wanting a quilt quilted with a basic meandor or swirly/loopy design i am doing them at a SUPER-DUPER low price!! Just send me an email!!

I made these cutie pie cuddly soft bloomers for me etsy shop i think they are so cute for covering up those diapers!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to this new year! I am really lovin 2011. I have so much i want to accomplish! Many goals and dreams that i want to attain! For now i am going to finish my cowl & drink some of this Yummy hot cocoa!

Today is for a tiny bit of housework, sewing, football and leftover chili!! I also have a quilting pattern idea that I need to practice a few times...before I try it on my Long arm! Its so pretty!

I am a bit sad the holidays are over...but ready for a more normal routine!

I hope to get a quilt binding sewn down and a quilt bordered this afternoon.

it's gone...

We had a month or two of beautiful white snow! I wake up yesterday & it was like it never happened! It melted soooo fast! Except for the mud, puddles & unsightly dead grass..you would never know it was the 3 snowiest December on record here!! :D

I am trying to get myself motivated to fix a pot of chili & eventually reside to my sewing studio for some afternoon creativity! My New Years eve will be spent happily with my mister & a sweet pooch! I am excited to be ringing in another year here at home!! I am such a BORE and i am completely ok with it! :D

Here are a few beautiful & gloomy pictures that are reminding me of what season is to come & what our crazy IN weather has decided to switch to suddenly! I think they are just lovely...

coming to an end & loves

Christmas is over & in a few days we will be ringing in a new year. Eeep! We had a lovely Christmas..a very white one!! :) I love the thought of a brand new year just waiting to be lived & discovered to it's fullest! Like many of you i have lots of goals & dreams for 2011! I am kinda happy to close the door on 2010...love all the memories we made & feel blessed...but i just feel like it wasnt "our" year per say!? I have so many things that i want to accomplish this year...sooo very many! I want to TAKE back control of my life!! I know that sounds super cheesy in like an "Oprah" kind of way, but I want to be the "guide" in my life! I don't mean that in an "i'm my own boss kind of way" I just want to be in charge of myself personally & fulfill what i know my potential is as a wife, friend, business owner..etc! I feel that i wasted soooo much of myself in 2010 on what?... i have no idea! I just don't want to look back at this time next year & say i wish i had....! Ok moving on! ;)

It has been awhile since I've done a THINGS I AM LOVING!!
